COPENHAGEN
I love this town and I've really missed it. Though, I still don't understand a word of Danish -__-'
BERLIN TRAIN STATION
WOW! It was bigger than my whole town. Like, seriously oO We occupied a bench and lied on the floor, playing cards, between 00:00 and 05:00 in the morning... I can actually imagine living there!
WARZAWA
It was as if we took the train back to 10 years ago oO I've always thought of Poland as gray and dull, but I never expected it to be true. This town was just plain scary and it didn't really help that there was like one person who knew English -__- Though I must say, McDonals here are like 10 times better than in Sweden... 1 point to Poland!
KRAKOW
I fell in love with this town in an instant. It's just so cozy, nothing like Warzawa. Beautiful too of course. Too bad we missed out on Auschwitz, stupid train company... Also, the trip here took was probably the worst ever oO 3 hours in a train that goes like *ba bomp ba bomp ba bomp* and all you see outside the window are big fields and small deserted villages... I seriously thought the Zombie Apocalypse had begun and that we were doomed QQ
SZCZECIN
(Google told me how to spell it)
Took the nighttrain, meaning we got to sleep in a bed-looking-thing for the first time. Though, we were really worried for a while, when the conductor stole our tickets...we got them back in the morning though and he even said "I speak German" in Swedish, which made us laugh, so yeah...he wasn't so bad after all ^^
Soo... The city... Also a bit scary... We had a lot of time to kill, so we began to search for the centre of it... We walked and we walked, about to starv to death. After walking a little more, we found this restaurant called Pizza King. The guy who worked there talked English and was so nice, that we gave him all of our change in tip afterwards. Also, the sandwiches were really good!
BERLIN
Okay, I never thought I would say this, but I really liked this town and I'm actually missing it already. First though, we got lost since the company that made our map, hade decided to put a text box over the area where our hostel was, so we couldn't find the street on the bloody map. Thank you very much! A nice lady helped us and eventually, we found it. Amstel House, I really recommend it!
Anyway... The day after arrival, Fredrico who worked at the hostel, had a tour and we got to see everything worth seeing in Berlin. Also, I might have developed a smaller crush on Fredrico...that is, until he said he had a girlfriend...my heart broke a little.
The morning after that was a very sad one 'cause I had to say goodbye to this lovely city and prepare for scary Paris QQ
PARIS
Okay, this time I was really worried. The only phrases I know in French are:
"Quoi", "Bonjour", "Au revoir" and "Voulez vous coucher avec moi ce soir", meaning, I'm never getting drunk in France...
Anyway... We managed to find our hostel and pretty much stayed there for the rest of the day. The day after, was exploring Paris day, meaning, we walked for 11 hours, ate one time and literary murdered our feet. PAIN! Also, it rained for a while. At first, it was funny and I got the chance to jump in a few puddles while singing "Living In the Sunlight", but after a while, we were soaking wet and cold. Though I felt much better when a big guard outside a hotel had a hard time not to laugh as we passed him... He made my day!
We saw everything worth seeing on our "little" walk, but I wasn't very impressed. I didn't hate the town, but I don't really like it either and I don't think I'll ever go back there.
LONDON
Love at first sight! I mean, I'd wanted to go there for 10 years and here I was. A dream come true, so to speak. Still I don't have much to write about it. Since we spent 8 days there, we had a lot of time to kill, so we pretty much did everything worth doing...twice... Camden, my paradise on earth. Loved it! Hamleys, the huge toy store, that we visited three times, made me feel like a little kid again. Charing Cross, a cozy street with a lot of small shops, lovely. The guard at Borough station, that laughed at me three nights in a row, after I lost my Oyster Card and had to use daily tickets, that refused to work in the bloody machine.
"Remember this girl. She has a new ticket every day, but it never works. Her friends' always works, but not hers."
Madame Tussauds was a real experience and worth every penny. London Bridge Experience, not worth EVERY penny, but still fun. Though, I was slightly disappointed when it came to the horror part... Also, Starbucks... Please come to Sweden!
Love the town. Love the people. Love the accent. Love everything about it. If you haven't been there, make sure you go as soon as you can!!
BRIGHTON
We took a daily trip to Brighton, since my horoscope said I should make a lot of decisions that day. The ocean. The beach. The whole picture of it. I really liked this town and could easily picture myself living there in a not so far away future...well, either there or at Vincent Street in London...meant to be...
Happy people and rainbows everywhere! We went to the Pier. Carousel, rollercoaster, ghost train, Fish & Chips, spedning money in the big arcade and a henna tattoo. Great day!
Well, that's it... It was two really great weeks and I wouldn't hesitate to do it all over again. Mostly, I want to go back to Berlin...and Krakow...and London...and Brighton...yeah, do it all over was it!
